In the second ODI in Raipur, Kohli added yet another fluent fifty, positioning himself for another big score and further cementing his dominance against the Proteas.

With this latest milestone, Kohli has now set a new record for the most 50-plus scores by an Indian batter against South Africa in international cricket, overtaking the legendary Sachin Tendulkar.

Kohli’s Consistent Form Continues

Kohli’s recent performances highlight his consistency and hunger for big runs. This knock in Raipur marks his third consecutive score of 50 or more. He began with an unbeaten 74 in the third ODI against Australia in Sydney, followed by a commanding 135 in the opening match against South Africa.

Now at 37 years old, Kohli is eyeing his 53rd ODI century, which would also take his tally to 84 international centuries, further solidifying his legacy as one of cricket’s all-time greats.
