The upcoming India A women’s cricket tour of Australia has seen two major changes, as Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) player Shreyanka Patil and spinner Priya Mishra have been ruled out due to injuries. The tour is set to begin on August 7 in Mackay, featuring a multi-format series including T20, One-Day, and Four-Day matches.

Injuries Sideline Key Players Shreyanka and Priya

Initially selected for the T20 squad, Shreyanka Patil will now miss the tour as she continues her recovery at the BCCI’s Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Bengaluru. Similarly, Priya Mishra, who was part of both the One-Day and Four-Day squads, will also remain on the sidelines. Both players are under the supervision of the BCCI Medical Team and are currently going through their Return-to-Play protocols, according to a statement released by the board.

Dhara Gujjar and Prema Rawat Named as Replacements

To fill the gaps left by Shreyanka and Mishra, Bengal batter Dhara Gujjar and Uttarakhand all-rounder Prema Rawat have been included in the all-format squads. These changes bring fresh opportunities for the replacements to make their mark on international soil.

In addition to the replacements, Yastika Bhatia, who has been a regular face in the Indian senior team, has been added to the One-Day squad for this tour.

Radha Yadav will lead the team across all formats, while Minnu Mani has been appointed as the vice-captain. Star batter Shafali Verma also features in all three squads, providing a boost to the team’s experience and firepower.
